Additional Information
The Yves Delorme Collection of luxury bed linen, towelling, robes and home accessories is based on the French tradition of sophistication, charm and know-how.
The Delorme signature of 'Luxury Plus' starts with the fabrics themselves, which are carefully made from the finest long staple, combed 'Egyptian' cotton. Fabrics can be percale or sateen with thread counts ranging from an exceptionally soft 200 ('Violette' and 'Genêt') to a gossamer fine 500 ('Indra' and 'Etoile'). At that level cotton feels just like silk, a dream to sleep in.
Every Yves Delorme collection is the epitome of Haut Couture. Designs are drawn by hand; and the collections include three main themes, reflecting today's living -Sophisticated (luxury sateens and embroideries in natural shades of cream and ecru, or white), Contemporary Decorative (bold and fashionable designs that furnish a room), or Romantic (inspired, timeless florals).
Yves Delorme offers plains and elegant damask wovens and finest sateens for utter sophistication, printed checks, stripes and bold florals for fashion, and delicate, hand finished embroidery or delicate printed shades for true romanticism.
Subtle co-ordination is the key to the Yves Delorme home collection. Within colour palettes you can co-ordinate a check with a flower, an embroidered cushion in a bright pink with a print in contrasting greens, an embroidered motif with a woven or jacquard design. And as many of the designs are reversible, the permutations are endless to create a décor which is both personalised and flexible.
Also, items from the very top of the collections, such as hand embroidered boudoir
pillow covers can be added to main designs for utter chic within one's budget.
Also, core colour palettes evolve so that one can refresh a personal collection by a towel or a couple of pillowcases or a new throw at a later time.
